Reservation

Q. How far in advance can I make a reservation?
For reservations, we conduct a survey of user preferences around the fall of the previous year. Based on the submitted survey forms, we adjust the schedule and finalize the usage date by the end of December. If you would like to receive a usage preference survey form, please let us know. Once the schedule has been adjusted, we will accept reservations on a rolling basis from early January and will inform you of available dates.
Q. Can I reserve a training room, gymnasium, and grounds at the same time as making a hotel reservation?
We do not currently accept reservations for activity spaces such as gymnasiums or grounds, as this has often led to problems such as other groups being unable to use the facilities due to "tentative reservations." Instead, you will be required to submit an application form 40 days in advance, after which we will arrange the use of your desired activity space. However, if you inform us of your preferred location when making a reservation, it will help us arrange the space more smoothly, so please let us know if you have a preferred location, although this is only a preference.
Please note that groups wishing to use only the gymnasium, grounds, etc., on a day-trip basis can make reservations starting three weeks prior to the desired date of use.
Q. Is it possible for families or small groups to use the facilities? Also, what kinds of activities are possible?
Our facility is primarily for group training programs targeting young people and youth education leaders, but we also welcome families to use our facilities from the perspective of supporting home education. We also have programs suitable for small groups such as families, so please feel free to inquire.
Q. Can children attending kindergarten or daycare use the facility? If so, what kinds of activities are available?
Yes, it is available. We offer physical activities such as orienteering, and in winter, sledding and snow tubing, as well as creative activities that even young children can enjoy, such as our original planetarium.

Q. I would like to discuss the contents of the training plan. Can you help me with that?
For inquiries regarding training schedule planning and programs, please feel free to call us; our staff will be happy to assist you. For in-person consultations or site visits, please let us know your preferred dates, and we will arrange a suitable time. We recommend creating a schedule with ample time for each activity.
Q. What alternative programs are available in case of rain or other inclement weather?
Rainy day programs include indoor orienteering and Ten Challenge Pick. There are also creative activities, so you can choose a program that suits your activity goals.
Q. Can meal times and bathing times be decided in advance?
Depending on the crowd situation, we may need to adjust the time accordingly.
Q. Will you be able to implement the training plan created by the user group exactly as it is?
We will generally try to accommodate your preferences, but we may need to ask you to change the schedule due to the availability of the training venue.
Q. I would like to know the schedules of other schools using the facility on the same day in advance.
While we cannot disclose the names of the organizations, we can provide information about their size, age range, and the activities they conduct.

Admission/Discharge, Standard Daily Routine, and Living Etiquette

Q. What time and how is the check-out inspection conducted? (I would like to leave earlier due to my activity schedule for the next day; is this possible?)
The inspection is usually conducted between 8:30 and 9:1. Please have at least one representative from each group stay behind to be inspected by staff. We consider the room inspection to be part of the education process, so we would appreciate it if school groups and similar organizations would have their room leaders stay behind to be inspected as well.
Q. The voices of another group were loud even after lights out, late into the night.
We require preparation for bedtime at 10:00 PM and lights out at 10:30 PM. While we ensure that each group takes responsibility for maintaining proper etiquette within the facility, please contact a staff member if you cause any inconvenience to other groups. We will address the issue immediately. Please also contact us regarding any issues occurring in the early morning.
